In memory and celebration of Sally Brink
Sally was a beautiful soul, wife, mother, sister and friend. She brought sunshine when she smiled — and she smiled a lot.
The last year of her life, Jan 2022 through Jan 2023, she was a recipient of a small but important stipend from LACN. The consistency of the money was something she could rely on at a time where nothing felt reliable — but she also felt that the local nature of the organization really made her feel cared for.
The cancer world is large and confusing, inconsistent and brutal. But it can also foster love in the smallest ways. I think LACN helps to do that in their own way, and I think Sally agrees.
She loved music and hopefully you can find some peace — and maybe even some joy — through these Dedication Blocks. Blocks are suggested at $50, but give whatever you can — every dollar goes directly to LACN. Organizations like LACN are really important to our community.
